The Banking on Europe team co-organised a conference ‘Holding Pan European Public Borrowers to Account’ with the European Court of Auditors and Robert Schuman Initiative, University of Luxembourg on 15 March 2024. The event, which was held at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, brought academics and policymakers together to discuss the accountability of the Commission, the European Investment Bank and the European Stability Mechanism as pan-European borrowers. The keynote speech was delivered by Mr Tony Murphy, the President of the European Court of Auditors. See here for a summary of the event.
